The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education, classroom management, and curriculum development. This role involves fostering a positive learning environment for children of various ages, including toddlers and preschoolers, and supporting their developmental needs through engaging instruction and personalized care. Experience with special education, literacy education, and behavior management is highly valued. The Teacher will play a vital role in nurturing children's growth, promoting academic success, and ensuring their overall well-being within a structured classroom setting. Duties Develop and implement age-appropriate curricula tailored to early childhood development and individual student needs. Plan and execute engaging lesson plans across subjects such as math, literacy, physical education, and Montessori methods. Manage classroom activities to create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment for children. Utilize effective behavior management strategies to promote positive conduct and social skills. Assess student progress through observations, standardized testing, and other evaluation tools; adapt teaching methods accordingly. Foster communication with parents and guardians regarding student progress and developmental milestones. Maintain accurate records of attendance, assessments, and lesson plans in compliance with educational standards. Ensure adherence to child welfare policies and promote a safe environment that supports physical and emotional well-being. Skills Strong knowledge of childhood development theories, curriculum development, and classroom management techniques. Experience working with children in various settings such as daycare, preschool, private schools, or early intervention programs. Proficiency in literacy education, math instruction, special education strategies, and Montessori methods is preferred. Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents, colleagues, and administrators. Ability to implement behavior management strategies that foster positive social interactions. Skilled in lesson planning, classroom organization, and utilizing standardized testing to measure student achievement. Experience working with diverse learners including those requiring special accommodations or early intervention services. Knowledge of child welfare practices and commitment to creating a nurturing learning environment. Ability to adapt teaching approaches for different age groups such as toddlers or preschoolers; experience with childcare or daycare settings is advantageous.
