Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Valid certification as an Adaptive Physical Education Teacher, or ability to obtain Demonstrated experience working with students who have physical or intellectual disabilities Strong knowledge of adaptive physical education methods, strategies, and equipment Effective communication and collaboration skills with students, staff, and caregivers Ability to develop individualized education plans and adjust curriculum as needed Energetic, compassionate, and creative approach to lesson planning
