Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Valid Special Education teaching certification Experience or strong interest in early childhood or PreK settings Knowledge of specialized teaching strategies for diverse learning needs Ability to create and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Strong communication and collaboration skills with parents, colleagues, and support staff Flexibility to adapt to each child's unique abilities and challenges
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver individualized instruction and support to a caseload of four early childhood students Develop, monitor, and update IEPs according to student progress and goals Collaborate with general education teachers and support staff for holistic learning experiences Foster positive relationships with families, providing regular updates and resources Maintain accurate documentation on student progress and interventions Create a safe, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment What's in it for you?
