Job Description
Preferred Qualifications & Experience:
Valid Educational Diagnostician certification Masters degree in Special Education or related field (preferred) Previous experience conducting a variety of educational, cognitive, and behavioral assessments Strong understanding of special education regulations and individualized education plans (IEPs) Excellent communication and teamwork skills Ability to effectively collaborate within multi-disciplinary teams Detail-oriented with strong organizational and documentation skillsKey Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive assessments to determine student eligibility for special education services Interpret evaluation data and generate clear, actionable reports Work closely with teachers, parents, and staff to develop and review IEPs Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss assessment results and recommendations Provide guidance on classroom interventions and support services Maintain accurate and timely records in compliance with district, state, and federal guidelines Stay current with best practices and legal requirements in the field Enjoy a dynamic work environment and the satisfaction of fostering student growth.
