Aug 27, 2026 Job Description The Quabbin Regional School District is seeking an experienced special education teacher who has DESE certification at the high school level for the 2026-27 School Year. Experience with IEP writing, conducting achievement assessments and working collaboratively with general education teachers is required. In addition, this position works within a classroom of students with multiple disabilities utilizing strategies that meets learning and behavioral requirements for the students individually and as a group. The candidate for this position should have experience with working with students with moderate to severe cognitive challenges while providing a multi-modal level of support in enacting behavior and safety plans, establishing positive relationships with students, understanding the unique learning profiles of the students, and an ability to negotiate social/emotional needs as they pertain to a student's educational programming. Salary and benefits according to QRTA Contract - starting range $63,981
