This engaging contract opportunity offers you the chance to provide individualized instruction and support to elementary-aged students in grades K-3 in an inclusive, welcoming environment. You'll play an integral part in guiding a caseload of 10-12 students, tailoring your approach to foster both academic and personal growth. In this full-time position, you will work Monday through Friday, investing 37.5 rewarding hours each week to developing meaningful relationships, collaborating with colleagues, and implementing evidence-based interventions. You'll be empowered to use your expertise to ensure every child receives the support they need to succeed and thrive in their early academic years.
Qualifications:
Valid Massachusetts Special Education License, with Moderate Certification Experience supporting K-3rd grade students preferred Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills Commitment to inclusive educational practices and individualized student success
Key Responsibilities:
Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs) for a manageable caseload Adapt curriculum and instruction to meet students' diverse needs Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families to promote student progress Participate in professional development and school-wide initiatives to continuously enhance your teaching practices Maintain detailed, compliant records and documentation As part of this role, you'll enjoy a package of comprehensive benefits that includes highly competitive compensation, weekly pay, medical/dental/vision/life insurance, matching 401k, and access to a flexible spending account.
