Job Description

K-8 Learning Center Teacher, ESY Program
POSITION OVERVIEW
Seeking a licensed special education teacher (moderate, varied grade levels) to plan and provide instruction to students who require an Extended School Year (ESY), per their Individualized Education Program (IEP).
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: Advanced planning of curriculum Communicating with parents Coordinating services with related service providers Writing progress reports at conclusion of program Current authorization to work in the United States by the first day of employment
QUALIFICATIONS-PREFERRED
Demonstrated understanding of curriculum modifications and differentiation for a wide variety of students, with a focus on reading, writing and math skills
