Consistently provide accommodations and appropriately modify curriculum per Individual Education Programs and collect data regarding progress toward IEP goalsMaintain consistent communication with parents, administration, and other team members.
Attend regularly scheduled meetings with the building principal, special education team and Director of Special Education.
Attend IEP meetings, develop IEP goals and benchmarks and provide progress reports for IEP goals concurrent with issuance of report cards.
Provide consultation to administration, general and special education teachers regarding students who have specific reading and written language disability.
Perform all other duties as assigned by the Superintendent of Schools or designee.
GENERAL DUTIES
Provide appropriate supports, modifications and accommodations to students who have mild to moderate disabilities. Work with a Team consisting of administration, general educators, related service staff, psychologist, and paraprofessionals to provide appropriate services and supports. Adhere to laws and regulations established byIDEA 2004.RESPONSIBILITIES
