Category Schools - Special Education Teacher - Telehealth Job Type Contract A Special Education Teacher is sought for the 2026/2027 school year to provide specialized educational support via telehealth to high school students in grades 9-12. This contract position is based in Fall River, MA, offering a consistent weekday schedule from 9:00 AM to 3:30 PM, totaling 32.5 hours per week.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver telehealth-based special education instruction tailored to individual learning needs. Manage and support a caseload of approximately 10 students, with potential adjustments as the program develops. Collaborate with families and educational staff to create and implement effective Individualized Education Programs (IEPs). Monitor and document student progress, ensuring compliance with educational standards and regulatory requirements. Adapt teaching methods and materials to accommodate diverse learning styles and abilities.

Qualifications and Experience:

Valid Special Education teaching certification appropriate for high school level. Experience in telehealth education or remote instruction preferred. Strong knowledge of special education laws, regulations, and best practices. Ability to manage multiple students' educational needs effectively. Excellent communication and organizational skills.
