Pay:
This role comes with a competitive salary and an exciting sign-on bonus of up to $3,000.
Schedule:
Enjoy a standard Monday
  • Friday schedule with weekends off.
You'll also have time off in April, during the 4th of July, and at Christmas.

YOUR DAY AS A SPECIAL EDUCATION TEACHER
  • EDUCATOR You play a multi-faceted role in developing and coordinating comprehensive educational programs that encompass academics, motor skills, language, behavioral and social development, and activities of daily living.
Crafting Individualized Educational Plans (IEPs) tailored to each student is a fundamental aspect of your work. You also provide supervision and evaluation of classroom support staff, ensuring a supportive and inclusive learning environment. Your dedication and expertise significantly contribute to the growth and development of our students. Your role is both challenging and rewarding, with the Director of Special Education providing the necessary support, training, and guidance as you empower and inspire the young minds you serve!
REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's degree (required) A Massachusetts Special Needs teaching license or a license-eligible waiver from DESE is desired, as is a Severe Special Needs license.
