In this role, you'll make an impactful difference every day, working with a supportive school community located near the Greenfield, MA area. Candidates with a moderate certification for grades 5-12 are sought to empower learners through direct instruction and tailored educational support.

Key Qualifications:

Active Special Education teaching certification for grades 5-12, with moderate disabilities endorsement Experience working with middle and/or high school students Strong understanding of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and direct service delivery Excellent communication, collaboration, and classroom management skills Ability to adapt instruction to meet the diverse needs of students

Core Responsibilities:

Provide direct special education services to middle or high school students, helping each student achieve their fullest potential Develop and implement individualized lesson plans aligned with IEP goals Collaborate with other teachers, support staff, and families to foster an inclusive and positive learning environment Monitor and document student progress, making data-driven adjustments as needed Attend and actively participate in team meetings, reviews, and planning sessions This contract position offers the unique chance to work in both middle and high school settings and broaden your professional expertise.
