YOUR IMPACT
The Special Education Teacher will provide specialized instruction and targeted support to students in Public, Collaborative, and Charter schools in the Boston area, including Lexington, Arlington, Waltham, Stoneham, and Dorchester. This role involves developing and implementing individualized learning plans, monitoring and assessing student progress, and working closely with general educators, support staff, and families to promote both academic achievement and social-emotional growth. This is ideal for a licensed Special Education Teacher seeking to make a meaningful impact.
WHAT YOU NEED
Valid Massachusetts Teaching License with Special Education (Moderate Disabilities) certification Eligible to teach in MA through DESE Bachelor's degree required; Master's preferred Designs & delivers individualized instruction for students with disabilities Knowledge of MA Special Education laws and IEP development Classroom experience MondayFriday, structured setting Experience with students who are nonverbal, on the autism spectrum, prone to tantrums, runners, or wheelchairbound preferred Ready to make a difference?
