Key Responsibilities:
Deliver individualized and group instruction to elementary students in alignment with IEP goals Adapt curriculum materials to meet diverse learning needs and foster academic and social development Collaborate with general education teachers, paraprofessionals, parents, and specialists to support student success Monitor and document student progress, adjusting strategies as needed for optimal learning outcomes Create a positive, inclusive classroom where every child feels seen and valued
Desired Qualifications:
Active Special Education Teacher certification (SPED) in Massachusetts Experience working in elementary school settings is preferred Strong communication and collaboration skills Passion for fostering an encouraging and adaptive learning environment
Position Details:
