If you are passionate about education, equity, and making a difference in the lives of students, we invite you to apply. Miscoe Hill Middle School is seeking a Special Education Teacher. The Special Education Teacher will provide instruction that is guided by the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis, allowing staff to assess, teach, and evaluate progress using evidence-based procedures. Lesson plans will be customized to address communication, social skills, academics, self-help, health and safety, recreation and physical education, community skills, vocational skills, and transition skills. A specialized academic curriculum is also used as necessary.
  • Understanding of special education process and procedure including but not limited to IEP development, progress monitoring, data collection, and the facilitation of the IEP with families.
  • MA DESE Licensure required
  • Salary commiserate with experience
