Qualifications:
Valid 5-12 moderate Special Education teaching certification Experience working with middle or high school students in a special education setting Strong knowledge of IEP development, implementation, and progress monitoring Excellent communication and collaboration skills with students, staff, and families Ability to create inclusive and engaging lesson plans aligned with individual needs
Responsibilities:
Deliver direct special education services to assigned middle and high school students Develop, adapt, and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) to support student learning and success Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families to create a comprehensive learning experience Engage in data-driven instructional practices and maintain detailed records for each student's progress Foster a supportive classroom atmosphere that encourages student independence and achievement Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and contribute to a cohesive educational team Interviews can be scheduled the week of August 10th, allowing for a smooth onboarding prior to the start of the academic year.
