TITLE OF POSITION

Special Education Teacher

LOCATION:

Nauset Regional Middle School

DESCRIPTIVE STATEMENT

OF

POSITION

The individual will be responsible for student management and

services to Special Education students. The individual must have the experience and ability to collect and analyze assessment data, write and implement IEP plans, student support or behavior plans. The individual will work collaboratively and cohesively with general education teachers in a team format. A high degree of professionalism, passion for teaching and learning, highly effective communication skills, and demonstration of cultural proficiency is necessary.

QUALIFICATIONS

Massachusetts certification in Special Education required.

Experience teaching Reading is preferred.

SALARY:

$58,420.00
