Job Description
Key Qualifications:
Valid Special Education Teacher certification (or eligibility) Experience teaching students with significant cognitive and physical disabilities Skilled in specially designed instruction; experience with applied behavior analysis preferred Comfort providing or directing toileting support as needed Strong communication, adaptability, and teamwork skills Previous work with non-verbal and spectrum students is highly advantageousRole Responsibilities:
Deliver individualized instruction tailored to each students IEP Collaborate closely with paraprofessionals and RBTs to ensure all classroom needs are met Implement behavioral and instructional strategies based on student needs Maintain a safe, nurturing, and structured classroom environment Manage documentation and reporting consistent with district requirements Build trusting relationships with families, caregivers, and multidisciplinary teams This position is open to both local and travel candidates, offering a meaningful opportunity to influence young lives by providing high-impact, compassionate support to students who need it most.
