Job Description

Step into a rewarding contract opportunity as a Pre-K Special Education Teacher focusing on early childhood learners in an autism-centered classroom. This position, running full time from August 24, 2026, through June 14, 2027, offers the chance to create meaningful educational experiences for young students, supporting their growth and development in a nurturing environment.

Key Qualifications:

Valid Massachusetts Early Childhood Special Education Teaching Certification Background or experience working with Pre-K students Understanding of autism spectrum disorders and related instructional strategies Skills in developing individualized education plans (IEPs) Collaborative approach to working with staff, families, and support teams Strong communication and organizational abilities

Main Responsibilities:

Provide tailored instruction for young children in an autism-focused classroom setting Develop and implement IEPs to address individual student needs Create an engaging, structured, and inclusive classroom environment Track and report students' progress, collaborating with families and allied professionals Adapt teaching methods and materials to suit diverse learners Participate in regular meetings and professional development opportunities
