Job Description
Special Education Teacher / Behavior Technician Applied Behavioral Learning Services (ABLS) Applied Behavioral Learning Services (ABLS), a leading provider of behavior analytic intervention for children with Autism and their families, is seeking a full-time Special Education Teacher to join our dedicated team. Compensation Salary range:
$60,000 - $80,000 annually , commensurate with experience Benefits Full-time employees are eligible for a comprehensive benefits package, including:Paid Time Off:
2 weeks vacation to start 3 weeks after 3 years 4 weeks after 4 years 5 sick days annually 11 paid holidays (Happy Black Friday!) HMO Blue health insurance Paid training Free disability insurance Free doctoral-level supervision for BCBA candidates (Includes unrestricted supervised hours Schedule Center hours: 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM Staff are expected to work until 6:00 PM Typically includes 1-2 mornings off per week Position Overview The Special Education Teacher provides direct behavioral and educational support to children with Autism using Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles. Key Responsibilities Implement individualized behavior intervention and educational programs Provide direct 1:1 instruction and behavioral support Manage and respond to crisis situations using established protocols Ensure student safety through consistent application of behavioral strategies Collect data and assist with program development and progress monitoring Complete administrative and clerical tasks as assigned Collaborate with supervisors, clinicians, and families Travel with assigned students to home and community settings as needed Adhere to all company policies and procedures outlined in the Employee Handbook Qualifications License in Special Education Experience working with children with Autism or developmental disabilities (preferred) Commitment to professional growth and ABA best practices Physical Requirements Ability to run, lift, and assist children up to 50 pounds Ability to respond quickly in behavioral or crisis situations Why Join ABLS?
