Aug 31, 2026 Job Description Special Education Teacher Fausey Elementary School This full time position of Special Education Teacher will be responsible for providing explicit interventions for students identified with special needs. The servicing of these students will take place in and out of the regular education classroom. The Special Education teacher is responsible for a caseload of students and will be responsible for updating the IEP, writing progress notes and providing general case management. The applicant will need good communication skills as they will be communicating with teachers, parents and other service providers. Responsible for working with the other half time teacher of special education. Responsible for scheduling and working with special education paraprofessionals. Responsible for supporting principal with MCAS planning and accommodations/groups/etc.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university, Moderate Special Needs Certification, SEI endorsement

Per Unit A Contract
Salary Range:
$53,939 - $101,108
