Teacher of the Visually Impaired (TVI)

Position Overview:

Provide itinerant TVI and consultative services to students with visual impairments across K-12 campuses. Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and deliver direct instruction in braille, screen readers, low vision aids, and compensatory skills. Collaborate with educators and support staff to ensure appropriate accommodations and access to the curriculum. Coordinate with school teams to manage caseload needs, including scheduling, progress updates, and maintain accurate documentation.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Education, Visual Impairments, or Special Education Active Maryland Teacher of the Visually Impaired (TVI) Certification Prior experience in a school-based or pediatric setting providing direct and consultative services; braille proficiency strongly preferred Why Make a Move with Cross Country Education?

Top Compensation:

Earn $42.90 - $49.60 Per Hour, based on your experience and qualifications as a Teacher for the Visually Impaired, with weekly pay and opportunities for bonuses and incentives.
