Job Description:

Carney, Sandoe & Associates, an education recruitment firm, is currently seeking a Part Time Costume Design Teacher for the 2026-2027 school year at an independent school in Bethesda, MD.

Essential Duties:

Support school's drama department with costuming for school productions. Teach costume design course for upper school students. Serve as an advisor for students ensuring student success. Collaborate with performing arts department to plan, design, and execute 4 school productions per year.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Theater, Education, or related required. Previous experience working in theater productions. Experience working with students in grades K-12. Extensive knowledge of technical theater, theater equipment, and best practices. Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
