Category Schools - Special Education Teacher Job Type Contract Step into an impactful role supporting elementary students with special needs in a self-contained classroom for the 2026-2027 academic year. This contract position is full-time, spanning from August 17, 2026, through June 18, 2027, with a schedule of Monday through Friday, 7:25am to 4:00pm (35 hours per week, including a daily 30-minute unpaid lunch). The location is in the area surrounding Easton, MD, with easy access for professionals across Centreville and neighboring communities. Leverage your expertise as a Special Education Teacher to provide tailored instruction, utilizing proven interventions like Read 180, iSPIRE, the Bridges Program, and Orton-Gillingham based on the dynamic needs of your caseload. You will collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams, contribute meaningfully to IEP development and implementation, and foster an inclusive and supportive environment for elementary learners.
