One of our clients is seeking a Substitute Special Education Teacher to provide service in the Western, MD region. HOURS
  • Monday to Friday - School Hours
SUMMARY OF CLIENT'S DESCRIPTION OF THIS OPPORTUNITY
Under general supervision of a principal, the Teacher plans and implements an instructional program and provides related educational services for students. The Teacher will carry out a variety of student monitoring and controls activities; performs related duties as required or assigned.
  • Continually assess student achievement and maintain appropriate assessment and evaluation documentation for instructional and individual reporting purposes.
  • Plan and implement appropriate instructional and/or learning strategies and activities.
  • Manage the behavior of learners in an instructional setting to ensure that the environment is conducive to the learning process
  • Continually communicate with students on instructional expectations to keep them informed of their progress in meeting those expectations
CLIENT'S REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
  • Continually assess student achievement and maintain appropriate assessment and evaluation documentation for instructional and individual reporting purposes.
  • Minimum of Bachelor's Degree
