What We're Looking For:
Current Special Education (282) Teaching License Solid background working with students in resource settings and/or 1:1 support Commitment to fostering a supportive, inclusive classroom environment Excellent communication skills with students, families, and staff Adaptability and strong organizational skills to manage varying caseloads Enthusiasm for collaboration and professional growth
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver tailored instruction to meet students' unique educational needs, ensuring IEP compliance Manage a caseload appropriate to your expertise: resource teachers (up to 15-20 students), or 1:1 case managers (up to 8-10 students) Create engaging lesson plans promoting academic, emotional, and social growth Collaborate with general education teachers and related service providers Maintain accurate documentation, monitor student progress, and participate in IEP meetings Foster a positive, safe, and equitable learning environment This is more than a typical teaching assignment—it's an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of students and their families.
