Job Description

Category Schools - Special Education Teacher Job Type Contract Make a meaningful difference in the lives of students while enhancing your career as a Special Education Teacher. This contract role places you at the heart of a supportive educational environment near Belding, MI, working in special education for the 26/27 school year. You'll support students' growth and learning through expert guidance, specifically in programs focused on Autism Spectrum Disorder and related areas.
What We're Looking For:
Bachelor's degree with an endorsement in Autism Spectrum Disorder or another special education field, or willingness to enroll in the required coursework to obtain endorsement Valid Michigan Teacher Certificate Skill in managing and de-escalating aggressive behavior—both physically and emotionally Proficiency in addressing conflict in a constructive, solution-oriented way Readiness to consider alternative but relevant qualifications as deemed appropriate
Key Responsibilities:
