Countryside Academy is seeking a certified high school special education teacher. All interested applicants with a special education endorsement are welcome to apply. Applicant would be responsible for operating Guided Studies courses and tending to student IEPs and learning goals.

Responsibilities:

Prepare for and participate in the

IEP/REED

process Develop, implement, and monitor IEP for each student on their caseload Analyze and use multiple data points including progress monitoring Effectively plan and organize duties Demonstrate consistent, effective management of student behavior Maintain effective communication and relationships with students, parents, administrators, and school personnel. Inform the supervisor and/or general ed. teacher of students' progress and programmatic concerns Maintain accurate and timely records Comply with Medicaid billing procedures Coordinate and conduct effective parent conferences Demonstrate professional conduct and exhibit professional growth Comply with school district policies and procedures Effectively participate in meetings, committees, staffing meetings, and other required district and building activities Regular and predictable attendance including on-time Demonstrate competency with Illuminate and Power School (Preferred)
