TES is looking for a Resource Room Teacher to provide targeted, individualized and small-group instruction to students with disabilities throughout the Greater Detroit area. This is an opportunity to work directly with students while collaborating with general education teachers, special education teams, families, and related service providers to help students make meaningful academic and functional progress. •Salary range is contingent upon relatable experience, credentialing/certification, education, and use of a second language in your role (50% of the time). Why TES? Expectations:

Provide specially designed instruction in a resource room setting based on each student's IEP. Provide individualized and small-group instruction in areas such as reading, writing, math, executive functioning, and study skills. Support students in accessing and making progress within the general education curriculum. Develop, implement, and monitor IEP goals and document student progress. Participate in IEP meetings an d collaborate with parents, general education teachers, administrators, and related service providers. Provide accommodations, modifications, and instructional strategies based on individual student needs. Monitor student progress and adjust instruction and interventions as needed. Build positive, supportive relationships with students while maintaining high expectations for academic and personal growth. Collaborate with school teams to promote inclusion and student success in the least restrictive environment. Maintain accurate and timely documentation and comply with special education requirements and deadlines. Communicate effectively and professionally with students, families, school staff, and TES team members.

Minimum Requirements:

Valid Michigan teaching certificate with an appropriate Special Education endorsement Bachelor's degree in Special Education or a related field; Master's degree preferred Experience working with students with disabilities in a school setting Knowledge of IEPs, accommodations, modifications, progress monitoring, and special education requirements Strong classroom management and instructional skills Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration skills Ability to work independently while being an active member of a school-based team A student-centered mindset and commitment to helping every student reach their potential. 🌈
