This role is designed for those who are passionate about supporting students with diverse learning needs. The ideal candidate will foster a positive and inclusive environment, helping students achieve their academic goals while promoting personal growth and self-advocacy. Responsibilities Provide individualized and small group instruction to students with varying learning abilities and needs. Collaborate with classroom teachers to develop and implement personalized education plans (IEPs) and accommodations. Monitor and assess student progress, adjusting instructional methods and materials as necessary. Facilitate a supportive and structured learning environment that encourages student engagement and participation. Assist students in developing effective study skills, organizational strategies, and self-advocacy skills. Communicate regularly with parents, teachers, and support staff to discuss student progress and address any concerns. Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of appropriate educational goals and objectives. Maintain accurate records of student performance, attendance, and behavior. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Special Education, Education, Psychology, or a related field. Valid teaching certification or special education endorsement preferred.
