Elementary School Teacher - 1st Grade

We are seeking an energetic and passionate Elementary School Teacher specializing in 1st grade to join our vibrant educational team. In this role, you will create engaging lessons, support early childhood development, and foster a positive classroom atmosphere that encourages curiosity and growth. Your enthusiasm will inspire young learners and help lay the foundation for their academic journey. Develop and implement comprehensive lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards for 1st grade students Create a stimulating classroom environment that promotes literacy, math skills, social-emotional learning, and creativity Manage classroom behavior through effective behavior management strategies and classroom management techniques Assess student progress regularly using standardized testing and formative assessments, providing feedback to support growth Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and specialists to support individual student needs, including those with autism or requiring early intervention Incorporate learning technology and library services into daily lessons to enhance student engagement Mentor new teachers and provide guidance on curriculum development, teaching strategies, and classroom management Proven experience in classroom teaching with a focus on early childhood education and childhood development Strong communication skills to effectively work with students, parents, and staff Expertise in curriculum development, lesson planning, literacy education, and math instruction Knowledge of special education practices and working with individuals with autism or other learning differences Ability to manage classroom behavior and implement behavior management strategies effectively Familiarity with teaching physical education, tutoring techniques, and library services integration Proficiency in learning technology tools and educational software for enhanced instruction Experience in private school settings or Montessori methodologies is a plus Excellent writing skills for documentation, reports, and parent communication Join us in shaping the future of young learners by providing a nurturing, innovative, and inspiring educational experience!

Pay:

$45,000.00 - $82,000.00 per year
