Special Education Teacher (1) full-time teacher.
Location:
Manistee Middle/High School
Job Summary:
Manistee Middle/High School is seeking a dedicated and dynamic Special Education Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about engaging students in fostering critical thinking, and creating a positive and supportive learning environment. We are looking for an educator who is innovative, student-focused, and committed to academic excellence for all learners.
Qualifications:
  • ​
Required:
○​ Valid Michigan Teacher Certification with appropriate endorsement.
  • ​ Recommended ​ Best practices & experiences include, but not limited to: ○​ Experience using Easy IEP, Data Analysis (DRA, QRI, NWEA, etc.
) and MET reports ○​ Child Study process ○​ Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) ○​ Inclusion and resource room ○​ One-on-One (1:1) ○​ Apple Technology Preparedness
