Job Description
Niles Community Schools Emotionally Impaired (EI) Teacher March 26, 2026 Full time position for the 2026-2027 school year Reports to: Ballard Principal, Special Education Director (or designee) Niles Community Schools is looking for a dynamic Emotionally Impaired (EI) Teacher. Highly-effective communication skills and professionalism required for daily interaction with a diverse workforce, student population, building administration and community.
Required Qualifications:
Must be certified to teach Special Education and hold an endorsement in Emotional Impairment (SE) K-12 in theState of Michigan General Responsibilities:
Utilize a variety of research-based intervention strategies, continually assessing student response to intervention and make modifications as needed to ensure all students are successful Act as a case coordinator by preparing for, participating in, and ensuring IEP implementation according to the school process Ability to align student goals and objectives with district and state standards Ability to understand basic behavioral management concepts and demonstrate the ability to develop, implement, and incorporate appropriate behavioral management techniques Apply NowSimilar jobs in Niles, MI
