Direct Care Support Specialist

Play-Place Autism Center is currently hiring caring, compassionate, dependable, professional and energetic individuals to provide care and developmental support to individuals with special needs. We offer a team-friendly, lax and creative atmosphere.

Your Essential Functions:

• Act as a blend of a caregiver and a creative classroom coordinator, helping each child feel included and engaged.
• Facilitate creative, inclusive activities that engage kids' imaginations and support their developmental needs.
• Provide a warm, high activity and caring environment for preschool aged children.
• Follow and uphold all center guidelines while adhering to Play-Place's core values, mission and corporate philosophies.

What We're Looking For:

Someone with a big heart for children and a creative spark. Patience and a sense of humor - because we believe learning and fun go hand in hand. Strong kid-friendly skills in assisting with daily and small group activities. Experience with special needs or early childhood settings is a plus, but a willingness to learn and be imaginative is key. Ability to maintain a clean and safe environment for clients
