Key Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Valid Special Education Teacher certification in Michigan Previous experience working with high school students in a resource room or similar setting Strong knowledge of IEP development and implementation Excellent communication and collaboration skills with students, families, and colleagues Passion for creating individualized learning plans and fostering student growth
What You'll Do:
Deliver individualized and small group instruction to high school students with varying learning needs Develop, review, and implement IEPs in collaboration with other educators and support staff Monitor student progress and adapt teaching strategies accordingly Maintain accurate and timely documentation Engage with families and guardians to support student success Collaborate with general education teachers to promote inclusion and accommodations
