Job Description

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Key Qualifications:
Valid Minnesota Teaching Certification (Tier 3 or 4 required) Experience working with emotional behavior disorder programs or center-based support Passion for elementary-level education, with a strong foundation in math, science, and integrative STEM practices Demonstrated ability to foster collaborative, inclusive, and engaging classroom environments Excellent communication and organizational skills Resume and current teaching certification must be submitted for consideration
Primary Responsibilities:
Deliver exceptional instruction and behavioral support to students with emotional and behavioral needs Collaborate closely with general education staff, school counselors, and families to support each student's Individualized Education Program (IEP) Integrate hands-on STEM activities and project-based learning into daily lessons Monitor student progress, employing data to tailor strategies for academic and social growth Participate in regular team meetings, planning sessions, and professional development
