Key Qualifications:
Current and valid Minnesota Special Education Teaching Certification (must be submitted with your resume for consideration) Demonstrated ability to adapt to various classroom environments and instructional needs Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, staff, and families Commitment to upholding individualized education programs (IEPs) and inclusive practices Previous experience in special education settings preferred
Primary Responsibilities:
Deliver instruction and provide classroom management in the absence of the regular Special Education Teacher Follow lesson plans and IEP accommodations to ensure continuity of student progress Foster a supportive and positive classroom atmosphere, encouraging student engagement Collaborate effectively with other educators, support staff, and district personnel as needed Maintain professionalism, flexibility, and reliability when responding to on-call assignments
