ECFE Teacher (0.5) /Early Childhood Screener (0.3)
Job Summary:
Under the direction of the Early Childhood Family Education Coordinator, Plan and implement curriculum for a variety of age-appropriate parent/child learning experiences for ECFE classes. Under the direction of the Early Childhood Family Education Coordinator, the Early Childhood Screener is responsible for conducting early childhood screenings for all children ages 3-5, following up with all rescreening appointments and referrals, and for administering age appropriate screenings with children to identify any developmental concerns or related issues.

0.8 (.5 ECFE/.3 Early Child Screening)
Essential Job Functions:
Teaching in the Early Childhood Family Education Classroom Developmental Screening Collaboration with other Preschool teachers and ECFE Coordinator Attend staff development sessions Communication with parents Record observations related to TS Gold assessment tool
Qualifications:
Hold a baccalaureate degree from a college or university that is accredited Minnesota Department of Education teaching license required for specific assignment (Birth to Grade 3 license) Be able to collaborate in a play-based and inquiry based environment Be able to collaborate with classroom assistant
Salary Range:
BA, Step 1 at $51,599/yr to PhD, Step 17 at $111,313/yr, placement will vary depending on education and experience. View salary grid on the respective bargaining unit listed above, accessible via our Master Agreements page
