Key Qualifications:
Valid teaching license for Special Education within Minnesota or eligibility to obtain Previous experience working as a Special Education Teacher, particularly in school settings Strong understanding of IEP processes and ability to implement accommodations Excellent communication skills for collaborating with staff, families, and students Adaptability, patience, and commitment to individualized instruction
Primary Responsibilities:
Provide high-quality instruction designed to meet individual student goals and state standards Develop, review, and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and progress monitoring Modify curriculum and adapt teaching strategies to accommodate various learning needs Create an inclusive classroom atmosphere that encourages student engagement and growth Communicate with guardians, multidisciplinary teams, and support staff to ensure comprehensive support Document student progress, maintain records, and contribute to school meetings and initiatives
