Works in a classroom that includes only students with IEPs, or works with students and teachers in regular classes. Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Valid Special Education teaching certification (required) Previous work in special education classrooms strongly preferred Proven ability to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills Knowledge of current special education regulations and best practices Compassion, patience, and creativity in problem-solvingKey Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver tailored lessons to students with a range of abilities Conduct thorough assessments and maintain accurate, timely documentation Develop, implement, and regularly update IEPs based on student needs Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and parents to drive student progress Create a supportive, structured classroom environment that encourages growth and independence Participate in staff meetings, trainings, and professional development activities Enjoy a rewarding contract role that values your expertise and dedication.
