KinderCare is seeking a Senior Teacher for our Bloomington center to lead high-quality early childhood classrooms. In this role, you'll design engaging, developmentally appropriate lesson plans, guide daily learning and care routines, and ensure a safe, inclusive environment for every child. You will observe and document children's progress, communicate closely with families, and mentor assistant teachers. As part of a collaborative, growth-focused culture, you'll help shape curriculum, support center initiatives, and make a meaningful impact on children's lifelong love of learning. Responsibilities Lead daily classroom instruction and caregiving for preschool-aged children, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment. Design and implement developmentally appropriate, standards-aligned lesson plans and activities. Observe and assess children's progress, documenting milestones and tailoring support to individual needs. Communicate regularly with families about children's growth, behavior, and classroom activities. Mentor and support assistant teachers, modeling best practices in early childhood education. Maintain compliance with licensing regulations, health and safety standards, and center policies. Collaborate with center leadership on curriculum initiatives and school events. Create an inclusive, culturally responsive classroom that supports diverse learners.
