We focus on fostering a love for learning through play-based education, ensuring that each child develops socially, emotionally, and academically. Summary We are seeking a passionate Lead Float teacher to join our team at The Goddard School of Minnetonka. In this role, you will be responsible for helping the children engage in lesson plans that promote childhood development and learning in a supportive environment. Responsibilities Help Implement age-appropriate lesson plans that align with our educational philosophy. Foster a positive classroom environment that encourages social, emotional, and cognitive development. Manage classroom behavior effectively to create a safe and respectful learning space. Communicate regularly with parents about their child's progress and development. Collaborate with other teachers to enhance the overall educational experience. Assess children's progress through observation and documentation. Requirements CDA or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred. Strong understanding of childhood development principles. Excellent communication skills to engage with children, parents, and staff. Experience working with young children in an educational setting is essential. Ability to manage classroom behavior effectively.
