Prior experience with behavior management in a school setting. An ability to hold high expectations while maintaining a student centered approach. Demonstrated experience and proficiency working with a culturally, ethnically, racially and socioeconomically diverse school community is preferred. Responsibilities Assist licensed staff with crisis intervention as directed. Background or experience in working with students on conflict resolution. Ability to relate well to students, staff and parents. Monitor/manage students needing behavior support. Confidentiality and respectful rapport with parents and staff Record keeping of student behaviors. Be fair and consistent in following district discipline policy and student behavior plans. Other duties as assigned by principal.
