Shakopee Public Schools is searching for a 1.0 FTE, Long Term Sub (LTS) Center-Based Special Education (SpEd) Teacher to serve students with Emotional Behavioral Disabilities (EBD) at Eagle Creek Elementary School from approximately mid-September 2026 through December 2026.Job Summary:
Deliver direct and indirect services to students with learning and/or social, emotional and behavioral needs; monitor and document student progress; develop/manage IEPs and facilitate team meetings; oversee paraprofessionals and collaborate with families and other staff on services and strategies.Qualifications:
Current and valid MN teaching license in ASD, EBD, DCD or ABS Prior teaching experience preferred Experience with multiple instructional designs and differentiated instruction Strong classroom management skills Effective communication skills, both written and verbal Ability to build successful relationships with students, parents and staff Pay & Benefits Information (if eligibility requirements are met): Health Insurance Dental Insurance Vision InsuranceHSA & VEBA
