In this dynamic educational environment, you'll collaborate with other professionals to provide tailored support, fostering each students individual growth and success.
Key Qualifications:
Current state teaching certification in Special Education (or eligibility to obtain) Prior experience supporting students with exceptional needs in a classroom setting Strong understanding of IEP development, implementation, and compliance Excellent communication and collaboration skills with students, families, and colleagues Ability to adapt instructional strategies to meet a variety of learning styles A commitment to promoting a positive and inclusive school culture
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement individualized education plans for students with varying needs Modify curriculum and instructional techniques to support diverse learning profiles Track student progress, maintain accurate documentation, and communicate updates with stakeholders Collaborate with support staff, general education teachers, and administrators to deliver comprehensive academic and behavioral interventions Foster a safe and nurturing classroom environment where every student can thrive Participate in professional development opportunities and staff meetings
