Job Description

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Exciting opportunities await for passionate educators ready to make a meaningful difference as an Elementary Special Education Teacher focused on supporting students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) in a close-knit, K-5 setting. This full-time contract role begins August 24, 2026, and offers a chance to work collaboratively with a supportive team dedicated to fostering growth and independence for every child. Bringing your expertise and empathy, you'll lead a small, well-structured classroom of 8-11 students with the assistance of 2-3 paraprofessionals. Your role will be vital in tailoring programming and behavioral supports that help students achieve their potential in an environment that values teamwork and professional growth.
Key Qualifications:
Missouri Special Education Teaching Certification (or eligibility to obtain) Demonstrated experience working with students with Autism Spectrum Disorder Proficiency in classroom management and collaborative instructional practices Commitment to adapting teaching approaches to meet individualized needs
Core Responsibilities:
