Job Description

MBCH Children and Family Ministries is currently seeking candidates for a full-time Treatment Foster Care (TFC) Specialist for our office in Springfield, MO. This position focuses on ensuring that appropriate services and treatment are provided to clients in order to see them move towards permanency and experience successful outcomes. This is accomplished through a trauma-informed care lens using a faith-based perspective that recognizes the significant needs of the clients in the program and views the TFC parents as the primary treatment provider.
Primary responsibilities include:
Intake Ongoing Care and Support in the following areas: Family, Parent, Child, Team Administration including: Treatment Plan reviews/updates, file checks, billing, progress notes, documentation, evaluations, meetings, etc.
Medication Management After-care Requirements include:
MSW degree or masters degree in related field (psychology, counseling, criminal justice) strongly preferred Two years experience in protective social services, family preservation, or case management OR Bachelors degree in Social Work or related field (psychology, criminal justice, counseling) Three years experience in protective social services, family preservation or case management Other requirements include: We are a faith-based, Christian organization and candidates must share our beliefs and values. Ability to travel throughout the state with occasional overnight travel Flexibility in work schedule including evenings and weekends when necessary Successful completion of any initial and recurrent training and/or certification required of this position General computer skills including
