Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (TDHH) | Gulfport, Mississippi

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Deaf Education, active DHH teaching certification, and 1+ years Teacher of the Deaf / Hard of Hearing experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. An opportunity is available for a Teacher of the Deaf/Hard of Hearing to provide specialized instruction and support to students in a school setting located in Gulfport, MS. Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement individualized educational plans tailored to students who are deaf or hard of hearing. Utilize specialized teaching strategies and assistive technology to facilitate effective learning. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including speech therapists, audiologists, and classroom teachers. Monitor student progress and adjust instructional methods accordingly. Provide guidance and support to students, families, and school staff on deaf education and communication methods.

Desired Qualifications:
