Category Schools - Special Education Teacher Job Type Contract Special Education Teacher (EMD) | 2026-2027 School Year Soliant is seeking dedicated and passionate Special Education Teachers with an EMD certification for the upcoming 2026-2027 school year in McCall Creek, Mississippi. Position Details Full-Time 37.5 Hours per Week 2026-2027 School Year EMD Certification Required Openings Available High School Caseload Approximately 12 students (typically 8-9 actively served) Elementary Caseload Approximately 6 students Supported by 2 classroom assistants Responsibilities Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs in compliance with state and federal regulations Provide specialized instruction to students with emotional and behavioral needs Collaborate with teachers, related service providers, administrators, and families Track student progress and maintain accurate documentation Create a positive, structured, and supportive learning environment Qualifications Active Mississippi Special Education Teaching License EMD Certification Required New graduates and candidates currently renewing or obtaining certification are encouraged to apply Previous experience working with students with emotional or behavioral disabilities preferred Strong communication, collaboration, and classroom management skills Why Soliant?
