Qualifications:
Valid teaching credential/license in Special Education (or eligible for NC reciprocity) Bachelor's degree in Special Education or closely related field (Master's preferred) Previous experience teaching at the elementary level strongly preferred Demonstrated knowledge of IEP development, implementation, and progress monitoring Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams and families
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) Provide direct instruction within resource and extended settings Differentiate curriculum to meet the diverse needs of students Maintain accurate and timely progress records Foster an inclusive and supportive classroom environment
