Duties Supervise children during afterschool hours, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times Implement engaging activities that promote childhood development, including arts, crafts, outdoor play, and educational games Manage classroom behavior using positive reinforcement and effective behavior management strategies Facilitate youth group activities and support children in developing social skills and teamwork Maintain accurate attendance records and communicate with parents or guardians regarding children's progress or concerns Follow first aid protocols and operate AED (Automated External Defibrillator) equipment in case of emergencies Collaborate with team members to plan age-appropriate curricula that support special education needs when applicable Qualifications BSAC Certificate Encouraged Proven experience working with children in educational, childcare, camp, or youth program settings Knowledge of classroom management techniques and behavior management strategies Valid first aid certification, CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation), and AED operation certification required Experience with special education or childhood development is highly desirable Strong child supervision skills with a focus on safety and nurturing support Ability to lead outdoor activities safely and effectively in various weather conditions Excellent communication skills to engage with children, parents, and team members effectively Join us as an Aftercare Teacher and be part of a dedicated team committed to enriching children's lives through fun, learning, and care! Pay:
